Free Freedom Dress
I grabbed this dress at the last minute before they closed the Clothes Swap at the Maker Faire. All I had to do was bring clothes to share that I no longer wanted. It fits me perfect. I think I'll eventually shorten it, though. I didn't realize I was looking patriotic until I got to church on the Sunday before Independence Day. I can't really play my mom's organ yet. I just started taking piano lessons from her. Ahem...actually I need to get back into it. Haven't practiced or had a lesson for a few months. But I do really want to play. Did you know that organ playing is a dying art? Just like sewing; not many know how to do it anymore.

Yellow Saturday
Found this cool vintage thermos in Mom's pantry.
My parents and I drove up to Lake Tahoe to visit with my brothers and their families at their church camp.
God's beautiful creation!
It was a nice camp resort called Meeks Bay.
Miss V in her beach attire with a "fierce face".
This scene had a very 4th of July feel! I love those patriotic swimsuits.
Throwing rocks with my niece. Special memories.
Look at that cute baby-belly!
Playing with my camera self-timer in the back seat on the way home. Mmm, Tootsie Pop!
My little travel trinkets; poor Mr. Butterfly was dead on the side of the road.

Double Whammy
So today you get two for the price of one! I'm, of course, wearing what I wore today AND showing the tote bag I made. I had made a Strawberry Shortcake one for my niece, since my sister-in-law likes S.S.. And she used it so much, we talked about one for my nephew. Well, I know my brothers used to drive me a little nuts with their Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle obssession, so...........here's the TMNT bag for my little "Mr. T". And I pity the fool, who don't think it's bright enough! If you'd like me to make a custom Tote for you, at a reasonable rate, email me. Thanks!, Belle :)
P.S. Notice how my dog, Missy, has to be in the middle of everything.
*The top one is later on the phone with my David, just like every night. I thought I should get a pic of my makeup today, since I never wear this much. Just did it for fun.

Bruises Easily
I've had this fabric for a while and finally decided to use it for a summer top to keep cool in. It definitely helped when I was watering my plants this morning. I think I need a tripod; I tied my camera to a floor mop with a dog leash and propped it up on the birdbath. I'm such a pro, I know. Sorry Mom, I bruised your rose so I cut it off and brought it in.

Brand Newbie
So I'm still figuring out how to bling this thing up, but I'm excited about the possibilities. I've secured a contract with the world's hottest new model, Miss V! She'll be debuting her signature sass and gracing my blog all at the same time. Can't wait to show you that, dear followers-to-be. And my personal programmer, aka DJ Geegus, (my baby brother) will hopefully be willing to continue to give me the "Blogging for Dummies" lessons as needed. I'm also considering resurrecting my first blog, which maybe now has attained legendary status. Some mediocre things become popular simply after the passage of time, so I'm hopeful there, too. Thanks and I'll see you soon or you'll see more of me, whichever comes first.
