Recent Sewing

I recently won a yard of good quality fabric from J &O Fabrics on Facebook. They asked what readers would do with a yard of  their brightly colored "African Queen". I answered right away because I had admired the design of the fabric on their website. The statuesque profile of the pattern reminded me immediately of my niece. I said I would make a hair kit for her mom to keep her hair care items in.  I finally finished the hair kit. It includes a tote bag, accessory bag, a kerchief and a headband.

Isn't she an African Queen?
